This pregnancy is flying by! I thought it would be fun to take some time in the third trimester and share maternity must-haves. Advice for my fellow pregnant mamas: you do not need everything maternity! There are so many products, outfits, and gadgets out there for expectant mamas. Grab only the essentials or choose products you will also use when baby is here.
favorite products for pregnancy:
my maternity must haves
Lululemon Align Crop Leggings / One of the first things I needed once my belly started to grow…leggings! I tried maternity-specific leggings and had no luck. The quality was bad, the fit was awkward. The Align Crop Leggings from Lululemon have been a lifesaver. They stretch enough to go over the bump and are super soft. They are worth the investment, especially because I’ll get to wear them after baby is here.
Maternity Belly Band and Belly Support Tank / this supportive belly band and tank from Blanqi offer great support when your belly starts to grow. Both are stretchy, soft, and very versatile – checking all the boxes of maternity must-haves!
Compression Socks / a must if you want to help keep swelling down. I took these on our babymoon to wear on the plane or after a day of being on my feet.
Boppy Pregnancy Pillow / I held out for a while before pulling the trigger on a pregnancy pillow. Honestly, I wish I would have bought one sooner! Do your research as there are different styles of pregnancy pillows. I did not want a huge pillow that would take up our entire bed. The boppy was perfect for me and helped relieve back pain while making it more comfortable to sleep on my side.
Belli Skincare Anti-Blemish Basics / Acne was one of the very first pregnancy symptoms I experienced. During pregnancy, it’s advised women stay away from certain skincare ingredients (talk to your Dr. about this). This can make it hard to treat the acne that may come with your pregnancy. This set helped clear and treat my skin.
Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Creme/ my skin went through some serious changes during this pregnancy. Switching to this night cream really helped restore moisture and even out my skin.
Melting Body Balm / smells amazing and feels so soothing! I love to rub this on my bump after a relaxing shower – it’s like a mini spa day each time.
Perelel Health Prenatal Vitamins / I switched to these prenatal vitamins halfway through my first trimester. The vitamins are tailored for each trimester and come individually portioned out for each day, making it easy to remember and take my vitamins.
